Systems and applications training to improve performance at Currys

Currys selected Training for Advancement as their nominated partner to support the training rollout which underpins their two-year plan to rationalise the Currys distribution network, creating two new Central Distribution Centres in Bristol and Newark.

To support Currys, Training for Advancement was commissioned to design and deliver process and systems training materials to support the following parts of the Network:

This material was then adopted by trained Coaches to train Management and Operators in the new processes and tasks.

Training for Advancement’s role involved both the design of the process and systems materials and the training of the coaches. A Standard Operating Procedures Manual was also created for Inbound, Intra and Outbound.

Training for Advancement had previously been commissioned by Currys to develop training materials to support the implementation of a new warehouse management system, Catalyst, in Newark.
