Training spend on the up!
According to the National Employer Skills Survey 2007, released by the Learning & Skills Council (LSC), there has been a 16% increase in training spend since 2005.
In monetary terms, companies spent £38.6 billion overall, with the average training spend per employee increasing from £1,550 in 2005, to £1,750 in 2007 - a rise of 11%.
