Supervisor solution is right on track for SSP
Select Service Partner (SSP) - the business behind some of the UK’s most well-loved brands including Simply M&S, Harry Ramsdens, Pumpkin Stop, Burger King and Millies Cookies - commissioned Training for Advancement to develop a training programme for Supervisors in their branded business units. Key to the challenge was the need to understand the rail and airport environments and the pressure placed on individuals within the units.
The agreed solution, based on firm foundations formed during in-depth background research between SSP’s Learning and Development team and Training for Advancement, emphasized the core values of the SSP business. The initial reaction from the branded units has been good, which can be attributed to the importance placed upon cultural understanding and the pragmatic, grounded language used. In simple terms, the participants engaged with the programme because it was written in their language and could be included in their daily working routine with minimal effort.
