




Everyone in Training for Advancement is important to our business and plays a major part in servicing and supporting our client accounts. We all work as a team and strive to provide nothing short of excellence for our clients. Here is a short synopsis of each person's contribution:
Anne is responsible for managing new business development and supporting new business opportunities with existing clients
Anne spent many years in recruitment and selection, working in both the public and private sectors, before progressing into the role of National Training Manager for two highly respected recruitment businesses. After a move into retail financial services as a Learning and Development Project Manager, Anne joined Training for Advancement to work alongside blue-chips to improve business performance through the development of their people. This involved the provision of a consultancy service to senior HR and Operational teams to translate business objectives into innovative, integrated learning and development solutions. Anne is particularly attracted to the development of 'brilliantly simple' solutions to complex client needs.
Mel's role is primarily business development although, as a result of Mel's significant operational expertise, she also takes the lead in some complex assignments. Mel is an NLP practitioner with a Diploma in Performance Coaching, Mel is an Innovation Champion, accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), and an accredited SDI practitioner.
From an operational background in the insurance industry and experience of a number of office and field management roles, during her 10 years with Training for Advancement, Mel has been involved in managing, designing and delivering highly innovative and interactive learning and development solutions for major clients in housebuilding, retail automotive, and railway sectors.
Innovative Development Programmes for which Mel has been responsible include face to face, experiential, and instructional elements on topics such as:
BA (Hons) - Psychology, Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Prince2 qualified, David has over 30 years' experience in learning and development, much of which have been focussed on multi-site organisations and Government Agencies.
David's breadth of experience includes the management, design and delivery of programmes such as:
A Training Consultant employed by Training for Advancement for over 14 years, Julie is an accredited NVQ assessor, with a wealth of experience and specialist expertise in a wide variety of market sectors. This includes retail, housebuilding, electrical wholesaling, distribution, public sector, call centres and the automotive after-market.

Julie and Chris are expert multi-taskers, providing invaluable client support to ensure a seamless service. (They do a pretty good job of looking after the Training for Advancement team too!)
Jenny is our mistress of design; transforming 2-dimensional concepts into works of art.
